Session 27 – Inattentive Driving Part 2

As soon as the girl driving the car began coming toward the bumps in the road I would have told her to slow down. She was going way too fast to have control over the vehicle and was being irresponsible in her actions. The girls could have been less distracting and could have followed the speed limit on the road. If I was the driver I would feel horrible and would acknowledge the fact that I could have decided to slow down on that road and saved their lives. I think the punishment was justified, she did not mean to kill them and did not want to hurt anyone that night, however she should have some punishment for her actions. However, she definitely would still understand and correct her actions if she had not gone to jail.

If I was one of the passengers in the vehicle I would have tried to tell them to slow down or just walk back to the house if they were going to speed like that.  if the driver would have been obtaining the speed limit and not give in to peer pressure.  this was a sleepover so you can always just stay home and have your parents get you some or order food. I would feel horrible that I killed all of thoughts people and would never ever forgive myself for that because in that situation I just kill three of my friends and injured the rest.  I think it was too little to be honest because she killed three people and some people who do this only kill one person in an accident and they get a harsher sentence.
