Behind the Wheel Signup Instructions (READ ME!)

• The calendar is released on the 15^th of each month at 4:00PM for the following month.
• Students should take 1 lesson per month. They may take a 2^nd lesson pending availability.
• From the 15^th through the 19^th of the current month, students may sign up for 1 lesson for the next month. Beginning at any time on the 20^th of the current month, they may sign up for a second lesson for the next month pending availability.
• If we have open lessons that become available after the calendar fills up we contact students from our lesson cancellation list.  Please click here if you would like to be added to our lesson cancellation list.  Please do not call or email to be added to our lesson cancellation list.
• Behind the wheel pick up and drop off at Sheboygan North High School is in the circle by the flagpole right off School Ave.
• We will contact you via text/email if we need to cancel lessons due to inclement weather. Please be sure to check your text messages and email if you have a lesson scheduled and road conditions are questionable.
• Please click the link below to request to cancel a lesson.  Keep in mind if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or are a no show to your lesson, you will be charged with our $50 late cancellation/no show fee.

Road Test Info

In order to be eligible to take your road test at the DMV you must:

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Hold your permit for at least 6 months.
• Complete all 6 lessons with us.

Scheduling your road test is done via the DMV’s website. We are unable to assist with scheduling your road test. Please contact the DMV directly with any questions regarding scheduling your road test through their website. You do not need to wait until your last lesson to schedule your road test, but please make sure you are planning accordingly so you will have enough time to complete all 6 lessons prior to taking your road test.

If you have REAL ID on your permit, you will just need to bring your permit with you to your road test.  If you do not have REAL ID on your permit, please click here for a list of required documentation you will need to bring with you to your road test.

Students do not get any paperwork or a certificate from Just Drive. Everything on our end is submitted to the DMV electronically the business day following a student’s final lesson with us.
